Israel says it killed a senior Hezbollah leader in an airstrike in Beirut.

He was among at least 14 people kid, people killed dozens of others were injured.

This a day after Israel detonated electronic devices killing at least 37, mostly Hezbollah members,

and injuring thousands of others.

Hezbollah has vowed retaliation.

Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes also hit two homes in the Palestinian-Gazah strip

killing at least 13 people. Gaza's civil defense

civil defense says several people are missing and Pears Ayabatrai has more.

trapped up to 50 people, with civil defense only

able to retrieve 12 bodies from the wreckage this week.

Rescue workers told NPR they were getting

phone calls from a girl trapped under the rubble, but could not reach her.

Civil Defense say a separate airstrike in northern Jabalia killed seven members of the same family,

and attacks on two homes in Gaza City killed 13.

Meanwhile Israel's military says it lost four soldiers in combat in Gaza this week.

Also this week, Israel's military says it targeted Hamas militants embedded in a Gaza city school compound sheltering displaced people.
