Authorities in Georgia are learning more about the 14-year-old student charged with killing two students

and two teachers during a deadly school shooting.

The 14-year-old is accused of opening fire yesterday at Appalachian High School in

Winder, Georgia. He's slated to appear in front of a judge virtually tomorrow morning.

Authorities say the suspect faces four counts of felony murder and additional charges are

expected.

The teen is being held at a youth detention center northeast of Atlanta because of his age,

but will be prosecuted as an adult. It's still

unclear how he brought the AR platform style weapon that was used in the shooting

into the school. The suspect's father was interviewed by local law enforcement last year about online threats that the boy had made,

but the authorities did not have probable cause to make an arrest.
