Residents living in vulnerable low-lying areas near the Florida coast are being told

to pack up and get out now.

That's a Zirkeni dolly is already making its presence felt in summer as of the Gulf

coast.

A dolly is already packing 100-mile per hour winds as a category to hurricane.

It is expected to be a category three storm when it makes landfall early Wednesday.

NPR Greg Allen is in St. Petersburg and says the storm is getting stronger.

A dolly is a fast-moving storm and it's going to be bringing tropical storm-force winds,

heavy rain and storm surge beyond Florida up into coastal Georgia by tomorrow afternoon.

Officials are warning of the possibility of flooding and tornadoes as the storm moves

inland through Florida and up to the Carolinas.

National Hurricane Center says a dolly is expected to have winds of roughly 120 miles

an hour in its forecast to make landfall in Florida's big bend region.

Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center says a dolly is likely to still be a hurricane

as it moves across Georgia and South Carolina and Georgia Governor Brian campus issued a state

of emergency there.

The storm is expected to move through the state Wednesday with heavy rain and damaging winds

centered on Southeast Georgia.

The coastal city of Savannah plans to put its own similar declaration into effect Wednesday morning.
