Eight candidates seeking the 2024 Republican presidential nomination will take the stage

for their first debate of the campaign.

The contenders will square off in Milwaukee tonight.

Former president Donald Trump, who leads the field by double digits, will not take part.

Instead he'll be seen in a taped interview with former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson.

Every former attorneys for Donald Trump turn themselves into authorities in Georgia today.

Stephen Fowler of Member Station, W-A-B-E reports they're facing a slew of criminal charges

along with the former president for their alleged efforts to overturn the state's results

in the 2020 election.

At one point, Jenna Ellis Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani were part of a quote, elite

strike force team spearheading legal efforts to undo Trump's 2020 presidential election.

Now the trio are among 19 people charged in a racketeering case that alleges those

efforts broke Georgia law.

Many of those defendants, including Ellis Powell and Giuliani, have turned themselves

into the Bolton County jail for booking and are released on bail.

Trump is expected to surrender Thursday night.
