It's been six months of the Trump administration and almost daily headlines about big policy changes.

This week, on Consider This, we're taking stock of what's really changed and what hasn't, from immigration to education.

And we're going to unpack the controversy around Trump's nominee to a powerful federal court and a possible shift in his approach to appointing judges.

Trump has arrived in Scotland for a long weekend where he'll play golf and meet UK leaders. He'll also

be met with protests. NPR's Fatima al-Kasab reports from Edinburgh,

a huge security operation is underway.

Roads are closed and airspace is restricted as police prepare for the president to visit two of his golf courses on opposite sides of the country.

Elena Ivanova is from the Stop Trump Coalition,

which is organising protests in several Scottish cities.

There will be a lot of local community groups represented, active campaigns,

and just regular people.

We know people are travelling from Dundee, from Perth, from all over the place.

This week, some protesters put up a sign at one of Trump's golf resorts

declaring it twinned with Epstein Island, a reference to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

and a controversy that may follow the president on this trip. Fatemar al-Kasab, NPR News, Edinburgh.

The Justice Department says its concluded interviews with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein accomplice, Gieland Maxwell.

They met with her over two days in Tallahassee, where she's serving a 20-year prison sentence for helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.

Maxwell's attorney, David Oscar Marcus, says she answered questions about a hundred different people. He also

commented on questions that have surfaced over whether President Trump might pardon Maxwell.
