Adult film star Stormy Daniels testified today against former President Donald Trump at his criminal trial in New York.

Daniels was also cross-examined about the alleged hush money payment seated just feet away from Trump.

But as NPR's Andrea Bernstein reports neither appeared to look at the other.

Daniel said she met Trump in 2006 at a celebrity golf tournament where Trump invited her

to his hotel suite before dinner.

For a while she, they discussed business,

but she went to use the bathroom.

And when she came out, she said,

Trump was lying on the bed in his underwear.

After which, she says, they had sex.

Even though she said she was ashamed about that,

they did stay in touch, talking about a possible role

in Celebrity Apprentice.

After the Access Hollywood tape came out in 2016,

she said her agent told her there was an

opportunity to sell her story to Trump to keep it quiet and she testified she
