An Atlanta judges ruled Fulton County District Attorney Fawnee Willis

can continue prosecuting former President Donald Trump

in his election interference case,

but only if Nathan Wade, whom she had a relationship

withdrew as lead prosecutor, and today he did.

The court's decision is a key development in the investigation in Trump's alleged attempt to overturn his

2020 election loss in Georgia.

There's so much harsh and critical language here.

The judge said this was a tremendous lapse in judgment by Willis,

that her testimony before him on these matters was unprofessional that she had made

bad choices repeatedly and he even called into question whether Willis and Wade

testified honestly before him about the timing of their relationship.

The judge wrote,

An odor of mendacity remains about that.

Four defendants have already pleaded guilty in the case, but a trial date is yet to be set for the remaining defendants.

Mike Pence is saying he will not endorse former President Donald Trump in his current bid to take back the White House.

He made the announcement today on Fox News.
