Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is responding to comments made by President Biden about the war in Gaza.

NPR's D. Perz reports, Biden criticized Netanyahu's approach to the conflict, which is

now entering its six-month.

In an interview with MSMBC, President Biden said while the U.S. supports Israel's right to defend itself

that Prime Minister Netnya, who should, quote, pay more attention to the innocent lives being lost as a consequence of the actions taken.

Biden said he believes that Netanyahu is quote, hurting Israel more than helping Israel

and his handling of the war against the militant group Hamas and Gaza.
