Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, hours before a deadline kicks in for U.S. tariffs on

all Canadian imports that would likely make products more expensive for U.S. consumers.

Mexico's president and Trump agreed to put a one-month hold on the tariffs Trump threatened

to impose on goods from Mexico. NPR's Deepa Chivaram reports. Over the weekend, Trump said he would

impose a 25 percent import tax on goods from Mexico and Canada and a 10 percent one on goods from China.
