Live from NPR News in New York City, I'm Dwa Lisea Kowtel. President Trump said he would be shutting down what he's

calling the Trump Kennedy Center for two years to bring it to, quote, the highest level of success,

beauty, and grander. In a new Truth Social Post, President Trump says, he plans to shut down the

Kennedy Center for two years starting on July 4th to begin construction of a new entertainment complex and bring...

Trump says this is in honor of the 250th anniversary of the country, adding that financing for the project is already in place, but did not offer further details.

He added the plan was totally subject to board approval.

Five-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father, Adrian Conejo Arrillas,

are out of ICE detention in Texas and back home in Minneapolis.

Texas Public Radio's David Martin Davies reports.

Preschooler Liam Conejo Ramos arrived back in the Minneapolis area Sunday morning.

He was released from an immigration detention center south of San Antonio under a federal court order.

Representative Joaquin Castro says he accompanied them from the South Texas family residential area.

Liam is now back home with his hat and backpack.

Castro, a Democrat wrote on social media.

A picture of the boy in a floppy bunny ear hat before he was taken by ice came to represent

the immigration crackdown in Minnesota.

His return follows a sharply worded ruling by San Antonio-based federal judge who

ordered the government to release the father and son by Tuesday. For NPR news, I'm David Martin
