Some are calling for no work, no school, and no shopping.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department is investigating the killing of an

ICU nurse, Alex Prettie, but not an earlier shooting death by federal agents in Minneapolis.

Minnesota Public Radio's Brian Baxe reports. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that

Alex Prattie's death last Saturday is being examined for possible civil rights violations.

Preddy was shot multiple times as Border Patrol agents tried to arrest him

while he was recording immigration officers on his phone.

Blanche says the probe is separate from Homeland Security shooting investigation.

It means talking to witnesses. It means looking at documentary evidence, sending subpoenas,

if you have to, and the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division has the best experts in the world at this.

He says the fatal shooting of another U.S. citizen, Renee Maclin Good, is not receiving similar DOJ scrutiny.
