Here's the thing.

Nobody ever needs to do it.

People choose to be try-hards. And I have chosen to do it. People choose to be try hard.

And I have chosen to do so for more or less every day of my 20-something year baseball writing career.

So to see it filtering down to the next generation, I love it.

And let me just say, Nick, thank you for putting this entire event on.

Organizing something like this is the truest labor of love. And doing so for the cause that you're

doing it makes it even better. So from the entire community, thank you. We're all appreciative of

your hard work and dedication to this really cool game that we all love. Oh, man, stop that

pass. And we should be saying that to you. This whole thing is a product of everyone involved.

And I'm just really excited that I get to do it and get to host it and have so many, you know,

people like you, they're just spending their time to do this.
