PFP stands for pitchers fielding practice.

Those are the drills that happen in spring training on day one.

We've told you that today is the day that... on day

is the day that teams report you get your physical.

There's all these different stations.

The players come.

They're in their flip-flops or slides and socks, no unies. No one is allowed officially on the field

prior to passing a physical. But of course, players are on the field before a physical happens, but they shouldn't be, but they are.

So you have different stations, you have to pee in a cup, then you see the doctor or the orthopod, get your eyes, teeth, everything's checked,

your hearing, you get an EKG, you get your blood taken out.

Then the doctor, through the trainer,

gets to the GM, comes up to the office at Roger Dean

or wherever your spring training facility is and says all right everyone's done
