go. Euoria. That's the nothing personal word of the day. It is Tuesday, January 9, 2024, and euphoria has to be what you're thinking if you are a Michigan

Wolverine.

I happen to be a Wisconsin Badger.

I am not feeling euphoric. I was feeling nothing last night watching

Michigan win the National Championship, finishing off their undefeated

season, something that I wish I did not have to sit through.

First time I'm happy to say in 26 years I had to think about it,

but as a badger you don't want the Wolverines winning.

And as a fan of sports you don't want the wolverines winning. As a

fan of fairness you don't want Jim Harbaw winning. And all we got last night was an old-fashioned butt kicking.

That was close at 2013. It was our pick of the day Michigan winning, so I wasn't going to let winning a pick of the day get in the way I wasn't going to do it with emotion because we take our pick seriously obviously money's money

But I'm watching and I was thinking of myself, all right, I can't lose here. If I lose the pick of the day, that means I just don't want Michigan to win and not cover. That would be a nightmare.

But in 2013, I'm thinking, ah, you never know.

See what happens, then I'm looking at Harbaw.

I'm looking at Harbaw.

And I'm thinking about what's in his mind.

And he would tell you that during a game fully focused on the task at hand,

not thinking about your future, not thinking about the NFL, not thinking about the day after tomorrow.

And I can tell you that when you're in the middle of doing something

you can X out all the distraction, but there are moments when it creeps in.
