go. Future. That's the nothing personal word of the day. It is Monday, May 6th, and we're talking about future. We're going to get so much this weekend.

I don't know about you but I didn't leave the couch this weekend between the games and the races

and the roasts of Tom Brady. We're gonna get to all of it,

the Derby, what a finish.

But we gotta start with the Marlin's trade of Louis Arayas.

And I get that we shouldn't normally start with Marlin stuff.

We have a much more diverse audience than people in Miami, though I appreciate the South Florida

10%.

When a trade like this happens this early,

the reason why it got so much attention

is we're talking about May 3rd, May 4th, May 5th, a trade like that is going to get attention.

When the Marlins do a trade like that, it's going to get even more attention. People's view is that the

Marlins have started a rebuild. All the media came out and there were people on

Twitter, everyone who knows everything about everything or also known as nothing about anything

that the Marlins are rebuilding, forget the season.

Peter Bendix, the general manager, said,

it's unlikely we're gonna make the playoffs.

We have an eye toward the future,

but we also keep an eye on the present.
