go. go. Risk is the nothing personal word of the day. It is Friday, December 1st,

2023. Somehow it is the last month of 2003 already. This is the beginning of the

end of the year. We're actually more toward the middle of the end of the year.

As a matter of fact, I could argue we're at the end of the year,

but truly the end of the end is December like 27th.

Then we say we're at the end of the end.

Risk is the word of the day because baseball, sports, business,

relationships, life. It's all about risk calculation. It's all about risk tolerance.

Some people are willing to go skydiving.

Some people are willing to go losing.

Some people prefer not to leave their house.

So you have everything from what about Bob all the way to

free solo? Where do you fit into the risk profile individually and where do you want your company to fit and that of course

depends on what level of the company you're at if you're below the C-suite level and

you are mid-management and you have an idea for something for your company that's going to make money

or it's going to be a technological improvement

But you need budget and so you go to your boss and say I want to do X and Y I'm just going to need some money.

Let me do this.

You're willing to take the risk.

It's other people's money.

That's pretty good.
