It is Monday, January 4th, and we are here with Pete Sampson and Tim Priester here to wrap up.

0:19.8

The Notre Dame, Ohio State Fiesta Bowl. we talked about it, obviously wrote about it extensively.

0:25.7

I'm not sure how much we can add to what happened on Friday because, you know, I think

0:31.2

Notre Dame competed, but I think Nordame kind of competed on the fringes, so to speak.

0:35.4

They were down for basically 55 minutes of the game and double

0:39.5

digits for about 48 Pete. It just wasn't a great performance. The injuries finally took their toll,

0:46.1

but I'm not sure that that would have made a difference because, you know, Joey Bosa,

0:49.5

1:38.0

And that definitely surprised me.

1:41.5

And I think I'm justified in my surprise because I think Notre Dame has

1:45.2

been a really good offensive team this year. And the fact that the protections were so off, I mean,

1:49.7

I'm thinking even the first play of the game, where, you know, they kind of move Bosa around a little

1:55.6

bit, and then McBillan, their middle linebacker comes basically unblocked between Stanley and Nelson.

2:03.7

They overload that side of the formation.
