Blaze Radio Network. And now, chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher. I did not know that they were building a museum underneath the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Now, the Lincoln Memorial is only, I don't know, 175-ton marble sculpture.

But apparently, there's this undercroft underneath it that's like a dark basement.

And you could, it's big enough, they say, that you could turn the Lincoln Memorial upside

down and it would fit in the area below.

Okay.

I mean, we just put it on spindle and have that thing circle around. They're not

going to do that, though. What they're doing, though, is they're building a museum underneath that.

And they started off in 2016 with an $18.5 million grant or, you know, a gift from philanthropist David Rubinstein,

but it didn't get underway until last year, according to the Park Service.

Now, of course, the work proved a greater challenge than originally anticipated.

Uh-huh.

Most of the delay was taken up by the design process, of course, figuring out how to construct the facility without damaging the iconic memorial.
