So I wanted this morning not to dwell on the fact that you can now live in the museum,

which is something I learned just before we hit the record button here from Katherine

Mangy Ward, the former museum over there near the National Mall.

No, instead I wanted to pull together some seemingly disparate threads out of the headlines

from last week, all of them having something to do with politicians and free speech.

So here are four headlines with headline voice.

Number one, Utah law gives parents full access to teens, social media, seems that minors

will no longer be able to sign up for social media accounts without parental consent and

access to passwords, and even then they'll be barred between 10, 30 at night and 6, 30

in the morning.

So Congress grills TikTok CEO as app faces possible US ban.

No big deal, just a service that has something like 150 million active users in America.

Let's make it illegal.

Number three, Florida decides to extend LGBT school censorship to all grades after all.
