Solomon closes the book of Ecclesiastes with these words. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter.

Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

Each of us have been given only one life.

What will we do with it? Life. It's not a game. And in this journey through the book of Ecclesiastes, Scott Pauley will guide us to better understand the true meaning of life.

There are only two times in life that matter.

That's right, only two times in life that count.

And I want to show them both to you today.

They are found in Ecclesiastes chapter 12 in the same verses that we have just studied.

Now, we walked through the opening seven verses the last time we were together,

and we looked at life, just kind of a 30,000 foot flyover of life from beginning to end.

That's life.

It goes so quickly, doesn't it?

But let's return to it now to capture the two words.

Revelation chapter 12, verse 1 begins this way.

Remember, here's the next word, now.

The first great moment in life you must give attention to is now, right where you are.

Then come down to verse number seven at the conclusion of his

description of the aging process. He comes to the end and he says, then, then shall the dust

return to the earth as it was. So verse number one tells us about today, the day God has given you.

Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Every day is a gift from God.
