The simple handicap for Tuesday, November 9th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning.

And the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears,

as well as what transpired on the field in the second half between the decision-making

and the referees made last night on Twitter one of the

more interesting tweet storms from everybody to follow. And I'll open with just like a bit of a sort

of unwarranted multidirectional ramble that I hope becomes coherent. I don't know where this is going to go,

but I think it's just worth mentioning. So there's people who will say the NFL is fixed

when they're watching and they're betting and they're passionate about betting and they're tweeting

about it and they have an audience. and it's said kind of like tongue in

cheek in a way right like it's like sometimes the reffing incompetence can be so absurd that when it

overlaps with the crazy game that's close to the spread it looks really ridiculous and that's that's all

just part of like general gambling discussion and has existed as long as forums have been online.

It's always been a thing.

Then there are people, some of them very influential people within the sports media space, like hundreds of thousands of followers,

along with tens of thousands of just everyday betters that don't have an audience but jump in,

that genuinely believe that NFL's sides and totals are fixed.

Now, I think I'll start this by giving a little bit of my background here.
