Today is Saturday, November 9th, 2019.

On this day in 1971, 46 year old John List murdered his wife as she drank her morning coffee.

Then he killed his mother and when his three children got home from school

he killed them too.

Afterward, he disappeared without a trace and successfully evaded law enforcement for

the next 18 years.

named John E. List, went on a horrific killing spree in his family's Westfield, New Jersey home.

It seemed like only yesterday he'd been changing their diapers.
