together. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These are the stories of Jesus Christ life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles. Each month we get to read all four books. Go ahead, subscribe today. Join us as we read the Gospels together. You know we

say this a lot around here, but you don't have to be in the Gospels every day to be changed,

but every day you're in the Gospels will change you. So I'm really glad you've made time for this today. Here's how this works. I'm going to read three chapters to you today. You can listen or read along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that is it. And particularly this month and today on Thanksgiving we are reading these

chapters each day and really answering the question what am I thankful for about Jesus today.

So today is November 23rd happy Thanksgiving in the US and I'll be reading

Matthew chapters 22 through 24 and this month I am reading from the

C.S.B.

Matthew 22.

Once more, Jesus spoke to them in parables.

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants

to summon those invited to the banquet but they didn't want to come. Again he sent out other

servants and said, tell those who are invited, see I've prepared my dinner, my

oxen and fat and cattle have been slaughtered and everything is ready.

Come to the wedding banquet. But they paid no attention and went away, one to his

own farm, another to his business while the rest seized

his servants mistreated them and killed them the king was enraged and he sent out his troops

killed those murderers and burned down their city.

Then he told his servants, the banquet is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

Go then to where the roads exit the city and invite everyone you find to the banquet.

So those servants went out on the roads
