And I'm Jake Sherman. You got to wonder when Republicans are going to figure out they shouldn't undermine the voting process in Georgia when they need people to trust the voting process in Georgia to elect David Perdue and Kelly Leffler and keep their

Senate majority. Today's big story comes out of the Detroit Free Press in Lansing where they're reporting

that for the first time in history, Michigan's election board could deadlock this morning on certifying

the state's presidential election results. If the board fails to certify, someone is certain to sue

the Michigan

Court of Appeals seeking an order to do so. Last night, representatives Brian Steele, the Republican

from Wisconsin and Joe Courtney, the Democrat from Connecticut, both announced they have tested

positive for COVID. Steele was at Capitol Grill Wednesday night, along with many other members.

We've lost count of all the

members who have now gotten COVID this month. You've got to guess that it will be tough for the House

to come back in a session with this winter coming and proxy voting in place. And here's something

to watch. Joe Biden says he knows Congress and his team are putting out the word that he is

pressing senior

Democratic leaders to cut a stimulus deal with Senate Republicans, even if it's smaller than

Democrats had hoped for. The New York Times has a good story on this this morning.

Now, cutting a deal like that would be a complete reversal of the Democrats' position, and

will represent a fold by Speaker Nancy Pelosi

and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who have, four months, said that no deal is better

than half a deal. The question is, can Biden convince Pelosi and Schumer to do this?

And furthermore, will he call Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell at some point to press
