very few Americans who care about politics care about the nation are not nervous.

Everyone I know is nervous. In fact it's probably the only thing that left and right have in common.

They're both nervous. It is amazing that the left is nervous given the four years of intense intense intense unrelenting

unrelenting attacks on a daily basis of this on this president.

It is astonishing that it's close when you think about it.

Here is the interesting question.

Can depth of commitment be regarded as width of commitment.

I have never seen the enthusiasm for a president of either party like this the enthusiasm for

Donald Trump. In one of the cities last week people just chanted we love you I've never seen that left

or right it would be almost hard to imagine not intending an insult of any previous president, but it's just hard to

imagine that people would have erupted in such a chant.

Maybe with regard to Abraham Lincoln there might have been.

But people did not emote in those days like they do in these.

Anyway, to see this is to marvel.
