Now, of course, one of the complaints we often make about news coverage, about paranormal advances,

they don't treat it seriously.

Of course, UFOs are treated more seriously now with the 2017 article in the New York Times,

in the Washington Post, and Politico, and the Pentagon program, and Tom DeLong, I don't know how serious that is.

But what's really bad about the mainstream media is consolidation.

So people, of course, talk about liberal media and such things.

Really, it's corporate media in terms of broadcasting.

So we go into it, but NBC, CBS, ABC, ABC is Disney, by the way. Fox owned by big corporations. The CW with all the superhero shows,

that's a combination of Warner Brothers and CBS.

See what I mean?

Big corporations.

And that means they control the news that you hear.

As far as the news that you read, the local newspaper has been an endangered species for many years.

And there's more and more consolidation.

And now there's a report here that the two largest newspaper chains in America are merging

its gatehouse media, which is owned by a private equity corporation and Gannett.

Gannett is an old newspaper chain going back, I think, to the 19th century,

and most of you will know the publications they have.

They include the Arizona Republic.
