And he said, listening to Touch and Rich spouting typical sports radio ignorance about Mexico City. I tuned back and said, educate us. Because this is all I've heard. This is what I've heard from people. And I don't think that Mike Gorman would be making that up. And I don't think that, a matter of fact, I just Googled Mexico City crime. And one of the first articles I found is from Reuters, and it says,

cartels are having a huge problem right now, and there's, like, gang violence all over the city.

Gorman told us a story about how the Celtics were warned, obviously, not to leave the hotel room, but they were also told to be careful of fake policemen.

Kidnappers would dress up as policeman, pull you over in a car, then yank you out of the car, and then hold you for ransom.
