We're starting things off today with a report that President-elect Donald Trump

and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone last Thursday.

Now, that would be their first known conversation since Trump's election win.

Trump reportedly urged Putin not to escalate the war in Ukraine,

a potential signal for U.S.-Russia relations in the coming months.

Now, interestingly, the Kremlin is denying

that a conversation took place. Later in the show, U.S. forces have launched multiple days of

airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, with the Pentagon reporting it targeted advanced
