Roy Moore could lose what could be a slam dunk Republican held Senate seat after a blockbuster

Washington Post story said he had contact with several teenagers. And a juror in the trial of

Senator Bob

Nendez said the jury is deadlocked, raising the prospect the jury could be hung or he could

be acquitted. The Washington Post has a story about how Republicans, including President Donald Trump,

and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are calling on Roy Moore to exit the race if the allegations

are true. Politico has a story up on how Republicans

might be stuck with more since they have neither the legal nor the political leverage to force

more out of the race. And Daniel Strauss has a piece up on how more is fundraising off the allegations.

In Asia, President Trump is not meeting with Vladimir Putin. Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, quote,

are they going to bump into each other and say hello? Certainly possible and likely, but in terms

of a scheduled formal meeting, there's not one on the calendar and we don't anticipate there will be

one, closed quote. The New York Times has a sit down with Steve Bannon and the key takeaways

include Bannon telling Jeremy Peters that Mitch McConnell will not be the majority leader this time next year. Color us a bit skeptical. And there's more

drama happening with Tony Podesta's lobbying firm. Theo Meyer reports that Kimberly Fritz, the longtime

CEO of the firm, told staff she is quitting to start her own firm. And on Russia, Trump's bodyguard has

testified that Russian women were offered to Trump in 2013, but that Trump turned it down.

CNN is reporting that special prosecutor Robert Mueller interviewed White House aide Stephen Miller.

The Republican push for tax reform continues. Remember, the White House wants to get this done

by the end of the year.
