Let's kick off with basically a trend around Thanksgiving. Members of Congress retire. That's what happens around Thanksgiving. Members

of Congress go home. They remember how nice it is to not be in Washington in a pretty disgusting

political environment. They're facing political uncertainty peril and opportunities pop up and they

decide, hey, I might as well just retire from this mess.

The big change this cycle is that more Democrats are leaving Congress. 16 Democrats have announced

their retirements versus 11 Republicans. Some of these Democrats are seeking higher office.
