This week, I'll do some listener feedback on that remarkable Pisces trial last week.

American Heart Association meeting news, including a big PCSK-9 inhibitor trial,

beta blocker, post-MI, left atrial appendage closure, and post-AF ablation anticoagulation use. First, some listener feedback on the Pisces

trial. This was fish oil and patients on haemodialysis, and it found a clinically meaningful, statistically robust,

43% reduction in a mace endpoint over a corn oil placebo.

All components of the endpoint were reduced, including cardiac death.

I hemmed and hawed on this, and I scratched my head because, come on, I thought.
