Hey friends, happy holidays. I hope you're all enjoying this time as much as we assuredly are

somewhere. And in order to pass the times together, even though we're on a little holiday

break, we wanted to re-release a wonderful episode that we really enjoyed making our recap of

Notting Hill with Zach Stafford.

Incredible guest, incredible film, and also just felt appropriate given that we

recently revisited two other Hugh Grant classics, Sense and Sensibility from 1995,

and 1994 is four weddings and a funeral.

And this just feels like the natural next phase of Hugh Grant as a floppy-haired American

rom-com hero.

Yeah, the sex symbol that we all needed and still need, I think, deep down. And yes,

exactly. Like, we rewatch Notting Hill last year and talked to the wonderful Zach Stafford about it.

And then more recently, we watched four weddings and a funeral. And it actually made me appreciate

Notting Hill even

more and appreciate his reformance and Notting Hill even more and then of course since insensibility.

Like we're really getting into the Hugh Grant canon and so we were thinking fondly of this episode

and the many forays we've taken into understanding Hugh Grant's

Uvra and that seems like the perfect movie and the perfect rewatch to curl up with on a

cold, cozy Christmas week. I was going to say it's a very cozy movie. Just think about

that beautiful, beautiful scene where the seasons are passing, and Hugh Grant is walking through the market.

Yeah, I always think what could be more cozy than being holed up for a little sex capade with a charming but diffident English bookshopkeeper for a couple days. You know,

that's that's the epitome of cozy holiday fun. Unless your secret boyfriend or unless your

public boyfriend, Alec Baldwin, interrupts your romance and then and then it gets a little bit tough. But no,
