Let's turn to the Notre Dame defense.

And, you know, this, this group I thought was really, um,

they had a, it's a, it's a really impressive group. And it's a very well coached football team.

And a group that you just, you have to respect their grittiness. Because when you think about this game, I'm watching the game,

and I'm like, man, you know, one of my concerns coming out of the game was, you know, the edge

pressure is not great. You know, like they did, they got a lot of up the middle pressure, but

man, the edge pressure wasn't great in this game. And Stanford doesn't have great tackles.

Then you're thinking, but good Lord, they played this game without Bubacar, Traori.

They played this game without Jordan Patelho.

You know, they didn't have Jason O'Nei in the game.

You look at it and you're just like, man, it's like,

well, they're overcoming quite a bit to be able to go out there and still have the performance that they did.

Overall, I thought this was a strong performance from the interim offense.

Obviously, you shut down Stanford in a way that none of their previous opponents had been able to shut them down, including Stanford.

I mean, excuse me, including Clemson.

Obviously, Clemson gave up 14 points to Stanford, and their victory over the Cardinal.

Virginia Tech called them seven points.

I was with their backup quarterback, so that's a little bit different.

But your offensive production for the Cardinal, they had 200 yards of offense.

Their lowest of the season was the week before against Virginia Tech with 258,

which was obviously, as I said, done with their backup quarterback, the 3.39 yards per
