We are talking Notre Dame versus Pitt, and like we always do every single week, we're going to talk about, you know, what's at stake here? We're talking what's at stake for Notre Dame, you know, short term, long term, things that we got to see. But this is going to be a big one. And like I said, it's going to be Notre Dame's final ranked opponent in the regular season that they will face.

Kickoff is going to be at 12 p.m. on the ESPN inside of Accresher Stadium. It's where the Pittsburgh Steelers played their home game. And if you go and you look at the line on Fandul, Notre Dame is favored by 11.5 points, contrary to Pat Narduzzi, thinking that they may lose this game by 100 points, and the over-under is set at 55 and a half. So Pitt is one of Notre Dame's most consistently played teams. They're in the top five, aren't they? It's most times that they've ever played. So this does, I don't know if you count it as a rivalry game, Brian? Do you count this as a rivalry? Yeah, I do.

It's not the same.

To me, it's like with anything, there's layers to things, right?

There's USC and there's Navy.

Then there's, you know, Michigan and and Pitt and teams like that that are that are rivals that are important games, but they're not played as often.

I would even put Pitt ahead of Michigan in regard to rivalry status because of the

amount of times they've played, whereas Michigan and Notre Dame has been far more competitive,

which makes it a more competitive rivalry, not one that has as much tradition or history to it

as Notre Dame does. Notre Dame has a 51, 21, and 1, competitive rivalry, not one that has as much tradition or history to it as

Notre Dame does. Notre Dame has a 51, 21, and one all-time advantage over Pitt, Trev in their

matchup. Their name is also 28, 11, and 1 in this series. The Irish have won, see,

was it four in a row, and seven of their last eight.

And the loss being was 2013, was the last time that Pitt beat Notre Dame.

They won that game 28, 21. Notre Dame has won the last two in Pittsburgh. They beat Pitt's pit pit 42 to 30. There's a little bit of a coming out party for Josh Adams, if you remember that game, and Wolf Fuller just went nuts in that game. Pat Narduzzi was like, yeah, we could totally actually, yeah, it was Pat Narduzzi. Pat Narduzzi thought it would be a good idea to go man-to-man coverage against

Wolf Fuller with his quarters coverage and safety's coming down and stop the run. Didn't work out super great for Pitt at the time. And then it was 42-30, but it wasn't that close. Pitt scored the last, I think, two touchdowns of that game. Then, of course, they played in the COVID year, a game that Nourname won 45 to 3.

That's the last time they've played in Pittsburgh.

And that was when it was called Heinz Field. And so this is a, you know,

what's funny is Notre Dame is 28, 11, and 1 in Pittsburgh. They're 2310 and O in Notre Dame Stadium.
