So next, Brian, we're going to dive more specifically. We're going to talk Notre Dame run game versus the Penn State run defense, right? And when you start looking at this, this is a little bit of strength on strength, right? This is, from an identity standpoint, this is what both teams want to do. Penn State wants to stop the run. Notre Dame wants to establish a ground game.

And I think the numbers reflect that, right?

Notre Dame ranks 11th in the country and rushing yards per game at 217 rushing yards a game.

You talk about efficiency numbers.

There are 6.1 yards per attempt.

That's second in the country.

They have 42 rushing touchdowns.

That's fourth in the country. And then when you start factoring in, you know, what triple option teams, what group of five teams are potentially ranked ahead of them where like that is their offense is running a triple option, right?

Those numbers are really, really impressive.

And not only is it just, you know, it's the only thing that they know how to do and they can only ground and pound, right?

They're an explosive rushing offense. They have 18 runs this season of over 30 yards or more,

which also ranks inside of the top five in the country. But they're going against a defense that

is only allowed four runs of 30 yards or more across 15 games. That's impressive. That is really, really impressive.

They don't allow a whole lot of rushing yards per game.

Like I said, they've held multiple opponents no under 100 yards on the ground.

Penn State is a defense ranks number eighth in the country at just a hair over 100 yards

a game.

And from an efficiency standpoint, they have it to match, right?

They only allow 3.1 yards per attempt because there's some defenses that are matched up and paired with such a good offense that the teams that they play, right, kind of

have to go away from the run pretty quickly.

And those times, those numbers are reflected when you look at yards per game versus

yards per attempt.
