All right, let's spin it forward to the final game of this round.

That would be the Sugar Bowl, which pits number 700 aim against number two, Georgia.

That takes place on January 1st at 845 in the evening on the East Coast on ESPN.

Of course, that game is in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Superdome.

Georgia at the present is a two-point favorite. Notre Dame has never beaten Georgia. Georgia

leads the all-time series, three to nothing. So, Brian, how do the Bulldogs get to the Sugar Bowl?

Well, guys, they're a lot like Ohio State, right?

This is what they were supposed to do.

This is where they were supposed to be.

Coming into the season, you expected Georgia to be one of those teams.

We heard all last year, if Georgia would have made the playoffs last year,

they'd have beat Michigan and all these other type of things.

Who knows?

Maybe they would have, Maybe they wouldn't have. But you know, you also came into the season saying,

guys, could the schedule be too much to, I mean, could it be the thing that keeps them

from getting to that point?

That was an honest question.

That was a fair question.

Could that be the thing that keeps them from getting to it?

And guys, it almost did.

But I think the schedule allowed them to be challenged in a way from start to finish in a way that nobody else was.
