All right, Brian, it is game prediction time here on the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by Fandul.

We're now going to give our predictions for the Notre Dame, Boise State game that's happening this Saturday, inside of Notre Dame Stadium at 3.30 p.m.

This is always a fun segment.

I love talking about how we think this game is going to go out,

giving final score predictions, talking game wreckers.

It's one of my favorite segments that we do throughout the week.

Brian, I'll go ahead and get us kicked off here.

It's talking about these game predictions.

I'll give you guys my final score first.

I have Notre Dame winning this game 51 to 17.

I always hesitate to predict.

I always hesitate to predict any team to go over 50. I think this offense is absolutely humming. And the defensive

side of the ball for Boise State is the one that is really, really struggled. They give up a lot

of explosive plays, a lot of explosive plays. And that's something that Notre Dame's offense

has feasted on so far this year.

On paper, like I've talked about in the previous two sections, this matchup favors Notre Dame across the board on paper. Now they have to go out and execute offensively. They have to stay focused. They have to make sure that they're honed in on the task at hand. And then defensively, you have to continue progressing. You can't do what a lot of fans are doing and just hang your hat on, hey, they held Arkansas to 13, this defense is back, just do what you did every single week, because there were some mistakes that Arkansas did that were self-inflicted that also led to them only scoring 13 points. But right now, there's no doubt about it. This offense is really, really hot. They haven't punted in two games. We talk about what Notre Dame's defense is up against. This is what Boise State's defense is up against. Maddox Madsen doesn't do a good job of handling physical pressure as well as Tayling Green did. And what I mean, I don't mean as a passer, I mean, he doesn't have the escapeability that Tailing Green does. Tailing Green was 6-6, 235 pounds. Maddox-Matson is 510, 200 pounds. So there's just, it's a different level of athlete that you're going against. We'll get more into it when I go over some of my game records, but I think the D line should have a good game this week.

And it's honestly kind of consistent with what we've seen them do,

but I think this might be one of those performances where they kind of put it together against a good Boise State defensive

or offensive line.

And I do think that the defense continues to build on their performance from last week.

Overall, I think the offense keeps rolling.
