That's Trevor Trovers. I'm Brian Driscoll. And we are back today to talk Notre Dame football.

And you know, Trev, we have so many topics we want to get into. And we're trying to kind of do a little, do some things where we're still kind of wrapping up the spring a little bit but then also

looking forward to the season and we're like what better way to do that than the talk about

the Notre Dame portal class and that's what we're going to discuss today so what we're going

to do with you guys today is we're going to kick the show off by talking about the incoming Notre Dame

portal class which as of right now is eight people we're going to start at the very beginning and talk about, you know, the players we've seen, you know, what are our impressions of them now that we've seen them live. We're going to talk about the incoming players that are still to arrive, one of which is already here, but he didn't practice because of an injury, so we'll kind of count him as a sort of a new addition to the room.

And then we're going to talk about that that'll be part one, just kind of looking at the class,

evaluating the class, you know, what do we expect the impact of this class to be?

Because I, we have some strong opinions on that.

But then in the second part of the show, we're going to look at this portal class and discuss,

could this be the best portal class that Notre Dame has had yet?

And we'll talk a little about just the impact that transfers have had on Notre Dame in

recent seasons.

And it's going to be an interesting conversation, Trevor, because the reality is in today's

era, you can't ignore the transfer portal.

It's going to impact you one way or the other, meaning you're going to either lose

guys or get guys and you're going to do both, really.

But as far as what's your, you know,

how's your roster impacted is what you're bringing in better than what you had going out.

And you've seen teams try to ignore the portal entirely for the most part and they

haven't been able to do it. You've seen teams with an over reliance on the portal or basically
