Gentlemen, let's talk about the defense today.

There was a lot to like, especially in the big moments. There was a lot

to like defensively. And there were some times where it was like, man, they're getting out

leveraged again or man, they're not even set when Louisville is running the play and they look

a little confused. You know, there was a little bit of a series.

There was two plays in a row where Notre Dame was not set.

They were looking over at the sidelines still when Louisville snaps the ball.

Like it was like, come on, fellas.

Like, let's get it together.

But I feel like in the big moments, when it mattered, they stepped up.

And again, plenty to clean up.

No doubt about that.

But, you know, stops on fourth down, big pass breakups.

You know, the kids played, the young kids played really, really well.

We'll get into that as well.

I mean, it was one point in this game, guys, where Drake Bowen, KVA, Bryce Young,

Logan Thomas, and Leonard Moore were all on the field at the exact same time. I mean,

that's all you got to say. Like, the kids played well. The young kids played very, very well

in this game because a lot was being asked. Logan Thomas wasn't

planning on playing today. You know what I mean? At least not in the significant role that he did

have to play after, after Troyori went down. And so I do love the fact that these young guys are
