Summary

Pete and Matt examine the Irish's 23-point win over UNLV in South Bend to climb over the .500 mark. The offense clicked, especially in the opening quarter where ND scored 23 points. The special teams unit shined by forcing some turnovers to aid in that 23-point 1st quarter. Although Notre Dame poured it on, there's still yet another gear that the team can achieve. The guys weigh the talent in the program versus its production. Plus, looking at the bright spots and improvements through eight weeks.

0:55.7

Because I think instead of maybe rewriting some of the narrative around Notre Dame or giving

us inside of like this new direction, I think in, in more instances, it sort of confirmed

1:09.1

the concerns that you were already had about Notre Dame despite the margin at the end.

1:14.4

Yeah, I don't know if I have any grand takeaways from all of this.

1:17.8

Other than more Kenny Maine.

1:18.9

Former UNLV quarterback, Kenny Maine, who knew that.

1:22.3

He and he alone was worth the price of the $10 peacock subscription along with Karen Williams,

1:27.0

who's like the greatest quote in the history of Notre Dame football. But, you know, Marcus Freeman spoke to a NBC post game and got asked about execution first and foremost, since that was something he continually harped on last week. And he basically said it was better. Yeah, I mean, I guess I agree. I mean, I would agree.
