Welcome to the latest episode of the Shamrock, not joined by my regular co-host, who is being a dad, which, you know, that means at the athletic, that's a solid six weeks minimum.

It might be six months.

I don't know.

It prompts some of people to have more children.

But joined by my new co-host, at least for this episode, Mike Golick Jr.

And we were talking before we came on air about, you know, when you don't have kids, maybe get to do some extra cool stuff.

Mike Golick Jr. was in fact with the man himself and the entire cast.

So Mike, first thanks for coming on.

And then let's get straight into how you were

rubbing elbows with Coach Lassow himself. Yeah. Like you said, me being single and childless

has never benefited me more. And it was the most Los Angeles thing that I have done since I

have lived here thus far.

Because I'm sitting around on a Tuesday night and a friend of mine, former co-worker, Sarah Spain, text me at like 8 o'clock on a Tuesday.

And I had seen pictures.

She was out in L.A. She used to live out here, so I didn't really

think anything of it. And she texted me at like 8 o'clock on Tuesday night. It's like, hey,

hypothetically, if I had an extra ticket to the Ted Lassow season three premiere post party,

would you be able to be in Brentwood by 930? I looked at my clock. It was 8 o'clock. I was like, yeah, I could make that work. And so shaved my head, got dressed up, hopped in the car, and drove over there. And apparently she had been at the season three premiere because she's actually friends with Brendan Hunt, who plays coach beard. Sarah's infinitely more famous, well-connected, and funded rebrand than I am.

So she's there hanging out with like Abby Wambach and her crew and Abby didn't want to come to the after party.
