Would I be crazy to make the argument that this Notre Dame offense could actually be more balanced?

Now it's like, okay, can CJ drive the bus? Can he drive the bus? Can he be an elevator?

Right? Like that's what the great quarterbacks are. They were a lot more aggressive with C.J. Carr, for example,

than Ohio State was with Julian Sane, and he was thrown to Jeremiah Smith.

Notre Dame just wrapped up spring and the expectations are higher than the front row of a

two chains concert.

We're going to break it all down.

A lot to get to with a very special guest that if you've watched this show before and

we've been talking about Notre Dame, you've seen his face a lot.

I just want to ask you because there's a lot to get to.

I know a lot of guys didn't play that much that were, you know, expecting to be key contributors and guys coming back.

CJ Carr, people freaking out about that. It's nuts to me if you really know what a spring game was, and I use the term game very lightly there the way it was set up. But I want to start with CJ Carr. Didn't have great numbers, but I know the man can make a five-star meal. I don't need to see him do it when they're running vanilla ice cream and everybody knows what you're basically running because you've watched it for a couple weeks. Where do you stand on CJ Carr? Do you want to calm the masses quickly? Fans overreacting to a spring game? No way. I remember when Notre Dame fans told me that Notre Dame was screwed if Malik Zaire got hurt because of how bad Deshaun Kaiser was in the spring game the year before and he turned out okay.

Look, Notre Dame, the week before the spring game, Notre Dame had what they called the Jersey scrimmage.

That's their actual big scrimmage of the year.
