I.B. Nation, welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast. Happy Thursday. It is April 10th, which means we're only a couple days away from the blue gold game. I am excited. I love any excuse I can to be up in that stadium.

Lauren and I'll be up there. We're linking up with Brian and Ange. I know they're going to be up there.

I know Sean Davis and his wife are going to be up there.

So it's going to be a lot of fun to see everybody.

Actually going to be my first time meeting Sean Davis in person, which is also really exciting.

But before we get there, we have some Notre Dame football to talk about. And today, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to be talking about really picking up the

conversation that we had on Tuesday with the offense. And today we're going to be looking at it

through a defensive lens. Now, quick refresher, on Tuesday, we talked about, you know, what were

the strengths of this team in 2024? And is Notre Dame in a position where those position

groups and those units are going to be strengths in 2025?

So on defense, we broke it down.

We're going to talk about secondary linebackers, defensive tackles, Dens, the pass rush as a whole.

So there's going to be a lot of different things that we are going to cover today.

And Brian, I'm excited to get into it and talk about everything that we need to talk about today, man.

It's kind of funny where I felt like when we were talking about the offense, it's just like,

man, there's so many questions.

And we didn't see this guy.
