Brian, let's dive into Q1 here on the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought to by our friends over at Fanduel.

And when we start talking about Q1, this is an interesting start to the season for Notre Dame.

It is basically a polar opposite from what they did last year, starting it out against two playoff teams.

And they started out on a Sunday at Lambeau Field against

Wisconsin. And then they got a short week. They're at home the next week against Rice at home. And then they have a night game against Michigan State at home as well. So we're talking about a Q1 that has two night games in it. Now, Q1 last year did, but the outlook of the opponents is a little bit different.

Yeah.

Two one's going to be interesting this year.

Night games against Miami and Texas A the opponents is a little bit different. Yeah.

Night games against Miami and Texas A&M are a little bit different than night games against Rice and, I mean, Wisconsin and Michigan State.

But I'm glad that Michigan State game is at night.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I feel like Notre Dame needs a reset of the last time they played in Notre Dame Stadium, which was 2016.

That's the last time Michigan State has been in Notre Dame Stadium, which is crazy to think that's been a decade since they've been played in Notre Dame Stadium. Because the last time they played period was 2017, and that was in East Lansing.

But if you remember that they, Notre Dame lost that game and got beat convincingly.

Like they came back late to make an eight-point game, but Michigan State dominated that

football game. And Michigan State was worse than Notre Dame was that year.

There were three and nine. And so definitely a little bit of a rematch.
