I want to talk about the position battles for Notre Dame guys at safety because this is what's going to tell us whether or not this secondary as a whole can be elite.

I think we talked about this on Thursday show when we talked about the cornerbacks.

There's an expectation that this is going to be one of the best cornerback rooms in college football.

Are they first, second, third, fourth, fifth?

That's going to be determined by, you know, what Christian Gray does.

You know, does he repeat last year.

If he does, then they're top five cornerback room.

If he approves this game and does what we think he's capable of, then they become

one, two, or three in some realm of just locked down corners.

Plus, we have eye expectations for, obviously for Devante Smith at the nickel.

Depth is talented and all that kind of stuff.

That alone, with it being a good safety room, and I do think we can at least expect it to be a good safety room.

Agreed.

A good solid top 25 caliber safety room.

That alone makes us one of the best secondaries in college football, in my opinion.

And I would say that this safety room of what we know about it, even just what we know,

meaning like what Jalen Stroman did at Virginia Tech, what a Don Schuller's done,

and just the talent, because everybody has some level of projection for the most part.

It's a top 15 safety room.

Can we at least agree on that being the, the floor of the safety position?

Yeah.

If it's just, okay, just everybody kind of does what they did, you know, in the past.
