All right, gentlemen, in part two of the postgame show here on the Irish Breakdown podcast,

We were talking to Notre Dame offense.

And now this was an up and down performance, but they were still, Notre Dame still beat

Pitt, 37 to 15.

They won by 22.

They covered in a big way.

They were favored by 12 and a half going into this one.

And we saw kind of the highs and highs of this offense.

And we also saw some mistakes on offense, which I thought was interesting.

So we're going to go around the horde again like we normally do.

I'm going to start with Andrew this time.

Andrew, when you talk about this Notre Dame offense, what are some of your key takeaways from this game?

Flashes, but inconsistent. It just left me wanting a little bit more. They show what they can be. It looks so easy for them at times. When everything clicks, they just have playmakers at every level, receivers, running backs, quarterback, offensive line.

But then they just get in their own way sometimes.

They did a good job of overcoming adversity with some penalties on a few of their touchdown drives.

One thing that disappointed me was I felt like the offense was not good in sudden change.

The defense that gives them plus field position after the

first drive of the game, they can't convert. I mean, that's on the offense. You've got to go

get a touchdown. You let your freshman kicker have a 46-yard field goal. And then there was a couple

other times where the defense I felt gave them plus field position, and they just weren't able to

do anything with it.
