Happy Thursday, everybody, and the weeks are starting to fly by.

I for one cannot believe it's already almost November, but just like football season always does, we are chugging right along.

Notre Dame is in the middle of their second by week of the season. But Thursdays, Brian, we do still get to talk about the rest of the slate of college football that's going on. This has slowly worked its way up to be one of my favorite shows that we do every single week. Just two guys get to sit down and talk some ball. A lot of awesome games going on this weekend. It's going to be a lot of fun.

But we're going to kick off today's show.

We're going to talk about the playoff outlook for Notre Dame specifically.

We've been getting a lot of questions.

And we talked last week about, hey, look, playoffs are right around the corner.

The first rankings are going to come out the Tuesday after Notre Dame plays Boston College. So before you know it, the first CFP rankings are going to come out the Tuesday after Notre Dame plays Boston College.

So we wanted to hold off on talking about playoffs until Notre Dame handled business against USC

because those conversations would be all for not if Notre Dame didn't handle business last

Saturday, but they did 34 to 24.

And now we are in a spot, Brian, where we can sit down and have a confident conversation on, hey, this is what Notre Dame has to do to make the playoffs. So part one of today show, we're talking about that, what Notre Dame needs. And then talking about some of the games that matter specifically this weekend moving on. And then part two in today's show brian like i said just two guys

get to sit down and talk some football a lot of good games going on this is going to be a good

episode brian yeah i'm looking forward to it man some really intriguing games this week and once

again there's like no good big 10 games on this week it the big 10 slate this year has been

absolutely abysmal it really has so far now November should get better. And part of that is because there's been some bad teams that we thought would be better. But, yeah, the Big Ten Slate so far has been pretty terrible. But the SEC is rewarding us with some big-time matchups here in October. The Big 12 is as well. So I'm looking forward to jumping into those.

But like you said, Trev, we wanted to start off with talking about Notre Dame and their playoff resume because we made a statement yesterday.
