So Sean, let's get to part two of today's show.

And that is going to be looking at this Notre Dame offense as it heads into year two.

And what we think, what expectations should be for this Notre Dame offense going into year two.

And there's a lot of things that go into it.

I mean, who's the new quarterback going to be? What's the offensive line going to look like how how who steps up a receiver how the new

guys that receiver look can the running back room kind of build on what they did in year two who's

going to the tight end going to be you know i mean it you yeah you're going to have not only a new starter

but whoever new starter is going to be a very different quarterback than style of solid play wise than the kid you had last year.

I would argue that there's better defenses on the schedule this year than there was last year.

There's a lot of things to kind of go into it about, you know, what they, how they can do in year two.

But, Sean, when I look at this conversation, I have a lot more optimism than maybe most.

When you ask the question, can Notre Dame a team that went 14 and 2 and made it all the way

to the college football national championship game, can that team be better on offense in year

two?

Can they improve their passing game, which is the area that needs the biggest jump?

Can they become more efficient in the running game?

Like the run game numbers look great.

200 yards a game, you know, over six yards of carry.

But a lot of that was built on 90-yard touchdowns, 70-yard touchdowns, 60-yard touchdowns that really made this an incredibly gifted and explosive running-back room, a running-back room that can certainly put the highlight reels together, but can they be efficient?

We talked about even Jeremiah Love was talking about that in his press conference the

other day about how he's trying to be a more, I don't think he were to use the efficient,

but just a more sound player that can do the little things a bit better. Can they do that
