So let's get a little bit more granular with the summer conversation.

There's a lot of different storylines to take away here.

Mike Denbrock is now into year two.

There's a lot of returning pieces on offense.

There's some key incoming players on offense that we're going to get to see for the first

time around the team and summer workouts.

But when you look big picture, Brian, when you start talking about the offense, what are

some of the focal points of the summer for this side of the ball specifically?

So part of this development over the summer

period for all levels of football. And it's not just about

building up your bodies and establishing leadership. A lot of it, especially nowadays,

is also about the practical aspects of building your team. When you look at the Notre Dame

offense, it's going to be different every year what the focal point was. Last year was about

getting a brand new quarterback on the same page with a bunch of receivers he hardly threw with so far because of the injury. Well, now you've got two

quarterbacks that have spent a lot of time throwing into a lot of these receivers, but not all

of them because when you look at it, the summer workouts that began this week. I believe in the

first time that we've, that Notre Dame has had,
