Trev and I were talking before the show, man, it feels like we haven't done a show together for a while.

But the reality is we have done shows together recently. They just haven't been as much Notre Dame related, but we are back to talking Notre Dame football.

Irish have a pretty big game coming up here next week.

We are over a week away from Notre Dame hosting the first ever on-campus college football

playoff game in history, which is pretty cool that we will be a part of that, Treve.

I'm very excited about that.

I know you're very excited about that.

But it's a big moment, big opportunity for Notre Dame.

They play a very good Indiana team next week.

And we're going to break that game down a lot over these next two weeks on the website,

on the message board, and of course here on the Irish Breakdown podcast.

But first this week, Trev, you know, Notre Dame has this thing where Marcus Freeman

talks all the time about,

look, we're going to focus on us. We got to focus on our team. We got to focus on the golden standard,

right? It's the TGS, the thing they yell at the end of every, at every break. And that's really

kind of where we are going to start our analysis of Notre Dame. And we're going to kind of take a big picture view of Notre Dame's units

heading into the playoff and what we need to see from them, breaking down where they are,

where they need to be, where are they good enough to make a run, where do they have to get better

or show improvement, and where do they need to be at their best. And we'll do that today. So we're

going to talk all things in Notre Dame offense today. We're going to talk about kind of look at the season overview.

We're going to do a statistical breakdown of where they rank going into the season.
